1. What the service is
FacturaFit is a set of document-generation tools that run in your browser: GST invoices, quotations, proformas, receipts, credit notes and purchase orders for India; facturas, presupuestos, facturas proforma, recibos and notas de crédito for Spain; plus a client and item book stored in your browser. The service is provided free of charge, without accounts.
2. What the service is not — the filing boundary
- FacturaFit does not file, submit or transmit anything to GSTN, the GST portal, CBIC, the AEAT, Hacienda or any other authority.
- It does not generate IRNs, does not create e-invoices on any invoice registration portal, and is not a Verifactu system.
- The GSTR-1 JSON export is a preparation file for the official offline tool/portal. It is labelled "review before filing"; filing is your act, on the official systems, under your own credentials.
- FacturaFit is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for GSTN, CBIC, the AEAT or Hacienda. Official names are used only to identify the rules and systems being referenced.
3. Your responsibility for documents
The tools compute from the rules and data shown on each page, with sources and verification dates. Tax law changes, and your facts (place of supply, retention basis, recipient status) are yours. You are responsible for reviewing every document and export before issuing or filing it, and for taking professional advice where your situation needs it. Worked examples on this site illustrate the engine's arithmetic; they are not advice about your tax position.
4. Your data
As the privacy page states, your documents and library live in your browser. Loss of that storage (browser reset, device change) is loss of the library; the export function exists for that reason. We accept no liability for data stored only on your device beyond providing the export/import mechanism.
5. Acceptable use
Use the tools to produce your own business documents. Do not use them to create documents intended to deceive a recipient or an authority — fabricated invoices harm exactly the people these tools were built for, and outputs discovered to be part of fraud are a matter for the authorities, not for us to mediate.
6. Availability and changes
The service is provided as-is, without a warranty of uninterrupted availability. Rules data is maintained on the cadence described on the about page; where a known schema change outruns an export update, the affected export is paused and says so, rather than continuing silently.
